OpenID at IIW

Filed under: Events — Dick @ 11:26 pm

Today was the group hug day at IIW. I spent sometime with Brad Fitzpatrick of LiveJournal fame. Brad also created OpenID, which is some pretty simple, light weight distributed authentication technology. I think we might be able to use it in sxore.

I really hope that some of OpenId can be integrated into sxore, because I love the simple idea behind OpenID. All it really needs is the API Endpoint (or alike) for a specific URL. It's just like Flickr does now to enable users to blog about photos directly form Flickr.
