Lots of news coverage today on the Higgins announcement today by IBM and Novell. Great to see the user-centric model being advocated by other major players besides Microsoft. Unfortunate that the media is positioning it as open source vs Microsoft.
The nedia is in the job of selling news rather than reporting it. If it bleeds it leads, if it doesn't bleed already make it.

Agreed. Key learning that I have had in dealing with media is that if you don't pitch them an exciting story, they will add their own spin to make it exciting!
