RSA frees up SAML IPR

Filed under: Media, Identity Gang — Dick @ 11:53 am

If you watched my Identity 2. 0 talk at OSCON, you may recall me poking RSA with a stick about their IPR policy around the use of SAML. Happy to hear that they have changed their policy, which means we can easily create open source libraries that use SAML without requiring the developer to go get a license (albeit free) from RSA. Kudos for RSA. Watch for the statement here.
